Frequently asked questions
At Rancho Vista Preschool and Childcare, the safety and security of our children are our top priorities. To ensure their well-being, we offer virtual tours exclusively on Saturdays when the children are not present. This allows prospective families to explore our facilities and ask any questions without compromising the secure and structured environment we maintain during regular daycare hours. Please schedule online or contact our office directly.
At Rancho Vista Preschool and Childcare, we cater to two specific age groups: infants and preschoolers. Our facility has the capacity to accommodate 2 infants, ranging from newborn to 24 months old, and 6 preschoolers, aged 2 to 5 years. We are dedicated to providing individualized attention and a nurturing environment for each child in our care, ensuring their developmental needs are fully supported. Our limited enrollment ensures a low child-to-caregiver ratio, allowing us to deliver high-quality, personalized care and early education.
At Rancho Vista Preschool and Childcare, the health and safety of all children and staff are our top priorities. If your child has a fever, we kindly ask that you keep them at home. A fever is often a sign of an underlying infection that could be contagious, and it is important to prevent the spread of illness within our school community. We follow strict health guidelines which require children to be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the aid of fever-reducing medication before returning to school. This ensures that all students can enjoy a safe and healthy learning environment. If you have any further questions or need guidance, please don't hesitate to contact our administrative staff.
Yes, Rancho Vista Preschool and Childcare offers comprehensive potty training services as part of our daycare program. We understand that potty training is a significant milestone in your child’s development, and our experienced staff is here to support each child through this transition with patience and encouragement. Please note that there is an additional charge for potty training services. This fee covers the extra time, resources, and attention required to ensure a smooth and successful potty training experience for your little one. For specific pricing details and to discuss your child's needs, feel free to contact our administrative office.
At Rancho Vista Preschool and Childcare, we have a dress code to ensure a conducive learning environment for all children. We ask that children wear comfortable, practical clothing suitable for active play. Importantly, graphic t-shirts are not permitted. This helps to maintain an atmosphere focused on inclusivity and minimizes distractions. We recommend plain shirts, shorts or pants with elastic waistbands for easy movement, and closed-toe shoes for safety during play and activities. This dress code supports our mission to provide a safe, positive, and distraction-free environment for all our preschoolers.
Rancho Vista Preschool and Childcare values the trust that families place in us to care for and educate their children. However, at this time, we do not offer a discount for enrolling more than one child. Each child's enrollment and tuition are handled individually to ensure that all children receive the highest quality of care and education tailored to their unique needs. Our focus remains on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where each child can thrive. If you have any further questions or need assistance with the enrollment process, please feel free to contact us directly.
